CONVOY HFX Redux

Convoy HFX Redux is a new Upstream project based on the spirit and structure of Convoy HFX an orchestral piece written by Upstream artistic director Paul Cram in 2002 for the 22 piece Upstream Orchestra. The new CONVOY configuration is : drums/percussion, bass/electronics, guitar/electronics,  keyboards, electric cello, electric violin,  tenor saxophone/clarinet, baritone saxophone/flute, trumpet,  and voice. While retaining the operational gambits of the original piece Redux will accommodate new cargo in the form of interventions and attack pieces instigated and conducted by band members.  The performance will be 80 minutes long and will be accompanied with multi-media by Denise Karyn.
